THE ART OF LITIGATION / COURT CASES –

How does one prepare? (especially if you are not a Lawyer)
An important step in litigation is thinking one step ahead of your opponent.
In other words anticipating what are they going to do? What evidence will they lead against you?
Do not wait for the day of your hearing. Whether this is a CCMA case or a Disciplinary Hearing or even a Divorce case.
Think ahead: what they will argue?
Then plan your responses.
In other words, gather the facts of your case. You must know your case in and out.
Have your witnesses ready for the day of your hearing. Ensure that all travel arrangements are made.
Have your documents in date order (and make several copies)
This is how you succeed in litigation – through detailed PREPARATION.
It is possible – but you will have to work for it.
